Happy Thanksgiving

Chason, Granny Barb, & I invited our neighbor & friends, Pauline & Jolean out to Moms for Turkey Day. We had a fun day of eating & watching Disney movies.

This praying mantis was hanging out on Mat & Jaime's deck the evening we left. It was so cool - Chason & I had never seen one before. I had stuff out on the deck & Mat had to go get them for me - I was too freaked out. He tried jumping on Mat when he came back in. Mat & Jaime said he hung out on their deck for a week or so.

Sunday Drive - Hawaiian Style

We drove all over the Oahu island Sunday November 17th & stopped at some beautiful beaches.

Kapolei

We rented a car for the weekend & drove to the East side of the island. We spent the day at a gorgeous resort beach. Mat & I spotted a sea turtle snorkeling.

Aina Moana Beach

An awesome little protected beach not far from Mat & Jaime's place. We spent the day playing in the sand & swimming.

Hawaii

Chason & I went to visit Uncle Mat & Aunt Jaime again in Hawaii this year.  It was a beautiful 10 day vacation of utter relaxation!  Thanks guys for everything!!

Home Depot

On the first Saturday of every month, we take Chason to Home Depot to make different projects. Each time he gets a pin to put on his bib. So far he's made an airplane & a ship. He loves it!

Chason wanted to be Batman this year for Halloween! We went to the zoo with Granny Barb for trick-or-treating. They had the zoo all lite up.

October Fun

October was full of exciting firsts for Chason.  We carved his first pumpkin for Halloween.  James & I hadn't carved a pumpkin in 20+ years.  Now they have patterns to draw on the pumpkin.  We've come a long way from triangles & semicircles. 

Papa Andy

Papa Andy stayed with us through the end of summer again this year.  He & Chason had fun going for long walks & making car shows.
