Mini Rominger Family Reunion

Our first stop was in Bozeman to meet up with the Rominger Clan.  We spent the weekend with everyone at the Bozeman KOA campground.  We really had a great time!

Portland Airport - start of our trip

We had a long layover in Portland at the beginning of our Montana vacation (July 20 - August 3). We walked all over the airport & found some cool granite thingies. This one was a bridge & Chason was showing off his muscles.

Carmen & her Mom, Rhonda were racing with the boys. They must have run up & down that hill a thousand times. The falling down is the fun part!

Chason loved all the John Deere Tractor toys James had.  They are about a month apart in age & played very well together all weekend.

Last weekend, we went down to our friends house - Scott & Carmen in Soldotna.  James helped Scott build his new garage & the boys - James & Chason had fun playing.

It's official

Friday, June 22, 2012, Chason Christopher Rangitsch became a BIG BOY - he went "pee on the potty"!!!! YEAH!!!!! We had to resort to bribery - which we've heard isn't all that uncommon. He got stickers for doin the deed & decorated his potty. We were all so proud of him!

Russian River

For our 13th wedding Anniversary (well a couple days later) we ran down to the Russian River after work for some combat fishing. We shared the river with a large sow & her two cubs all night. The 2 year old cubs got within a few yards of us when they peeked over the ridge at us fishing in the river. But then they crossed the river & played far away from us the rest of the night. It was pretty amazing! The fishing was super slow, but we had a great time. My mom came in & stayed with Chason - thanks Granny Barb!!

Bug bites

After our fun at the picnic & baseball game, this is the result.  Poor buggar's eye was pretty swollen for a few days.

After the picnic we ran over to watch our friends kids play baseball, but it turned out their little girl (Trinity - in the pink) was more interested in playing with Chason. She's so good with him & I think he's crushing on her! It's pretty cute.
