We wanted to thank Mat and Jaime for taking Jake while we were in the hospital. There dog Fletch and Jake have a blast together.

We got to see the sun yesterday, Krista wasted no time getting Chason in front of the window he love it.

I would like to say it was the first time he's pee'd on me but, he has got me several times before, this is the only one Krista got a picture of it.

Dr. Cruz

Dr. Cruz is the doc that realized Chason needed to come out. She said it was time to go and we were holding our son in less then 7 hours. We wanted to give her a special thank you, we are really grateful.

James was so supportive during the whole recovery process.  I couldn't sleep in our bed (because it's so high off the ground), so he brought his sleeping bag & slept out in the living room with Chason & I.  Jake slept with James (his nose is sticking out the bottom of the sleeping bag).

Some great friends gave us a cute warm little bear outfit that was great for taking him home in because it was 5 degrees outside. The outfit helped file up some of the space in the car seat. He was not impressed by his first ride in a car and slept the whole way home and strait through till the next feeding time.

Dr. Wynd Counts

Our hearts are filled with joy and appreciation at the birth of our son Chason. There are so many people to thank, but Dr. Counts in particular has been a real guiding light over the past several years. She has been there for us ever step of the way helping us through those very tough times, and there for the most amazing highlight of our lives. We both want to thank her for being such a great person and being there for his delivery.

Headn Home Today

We are just waiting to get discharged so we can get home and really start spoiling this little man.

Meet Carl

Carl was there with Krista from the very beginning through the delivery and into the the recovery room. He stayed late to make sure she was stable and he and Melanie were there for her during through the worst of it. We all wanted to send a heartfelt thank you to you guys for all you did for us.

My Little Hunter

Chason is doing great, he really figured out how to get some food around here today.He just got weighed and has started gaining weight which is great news. He gets that drunk baby look after a few minutes at The Krista Buffet. All is well here and with any luck we will get to go home tommarow.

We feel very fortunate to have met Tom, he came very highly recomended and for good reason he is great with Chason and at all of our visits we get to trade a couple hunting stories which both Chason and James enjoy.
