Nelson Family Talent Show 2012

The Nelson Family put on a cute Talent Show - it was amazing!  Cousing Stacey was the MC, Uncle Bill sang a song he wrote & the Rangitsch's even got in on the action.  We didn't even know we were entered.

Cousin Jeff demonstrated his whipping & lasooing techniques.  Cousin Bryan bounced a soccer ball on his knee - as many times as he was old (we'll never tell).  And Cousin Doug - well, I'm not sure, again, I guess you just had to be there (he, he)

James acted as a preacher & re-married Uncle Virgil & Aunt Jenny - it was their 50th Wedding Anniversary this year!  CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Uncle Jason, Aunt Dawnelle, & Keyley were so good to us - as always.  They let us use their truck, their boat, & their motorhome - which Chason called the "Dirty Camper" - after he saw Grandpa Lon's new 5th wheel camper.  Thanks guys!!

So we had a toy duck race on the creek & Chason's ducky won 3rd prize - a monster truck!!  (How did Aunt Jenny know he liked monster trucks - or that he'd win???)

Okay - so I know this looks funny, but Grandma Mary bought a box of boxers at the auction & then circulated them around for people to put on - so I got lots of cute picts.

Grandpa Lon & Grann-O Jannie were teaching Chason how to walk & feed their dogs.  Of course, Chason thought they all needed rocks & dirt in their water bowls.

It was great that they were able to join us up at Minor Creek - we were able to enjoy both sides of the family at the same time.  The Nelson family made the Romingers feel so welcome - thanks all!!

Minor Creek float trip

First of many float trips on this vacation.  Grandpa Lon, Daddy, Chason, & John rode in Uncle Jason's boat & Grann-O Jannie, Anner, & I rode in kayaks.  It was all of our first time in a kayak - we loved it.
