Chason decided he wanted to be Batman this year for Halloween.  He got to try out his costume early.

Anchorage Downtown Market

We took Steves & Anner to the Downtown Market while they were here.  They got to see (& unfortunately hear) the Alaskan Elvis.

Cousin Steve & Anner

Daddy's cousin Steve & his wife Anner came up for a visit.  They got a free trip & decided to come see us in Alaska (favorite cousin - ha, ha).  Chason kept calling Steve - "Steves".  They were buddies.

"Home-Day"

Best thing about having Grandma & Grandpa here are the "Home-Days".  Chason gets so excited about staying home & getting to play with Grandma & Grandpa all day.

Scouting for Moose

Daddy, Chason, Grandpa, & friends took the four-wheelers out around Knik a couple weekends ago to scout for Moose.

While the boys were out setting up hunting camp, Angie, Robert, Chason, & I went to see the movie Planes.  Chason's new hero - Dusty Crop-Hopper!

Grandpa & Daddy's trip to the wilderness

Daddy, Grandpa, & Chris went out to the bush to set up a hunting camp.  Lots of work, but it was beautiful.  Chason & Mom got to spend some quality time together.

Flattop Mountain

When Grandma Mary was up here in September - we did our normal trek up to Flattop.  So beautiful up there.  We saw some moose - pretty far away.

After a full day of processing meat (& a guilt-trip from his son for not taking him hunting), James built a "moose camp" in our back yard.  Antone & the boys came in to play for a bit around camp.

Annual Moose Hunt

James & his buddies (Tim & Tuomo) were successful once again on their annual hunting trip.  We had quite a few fun days of processing meat with friends!

We saw a beautiful complete rainbow on or train ride down to Seward.

Sharks, sharks, & more sharks!!

We went camping down at Deep Creek this last weekend & jumped in a tiny little rubber raft to try & catch some halibut. Papa Andy caught the only 2, but we did caught quite a few of these guys - little dog sharks.
