Home Depot

On the first Saturday of every month, we take Chason to Home Depot to make different projects. Each time he gets a pin to put on his bib. So far he's made an airplane & a ship. He loves it!

Happy Halloween

Chason wanted to be Batman this year for Halloween! We went to the zoo with Granny Barb for trick-or-treating. They had the zoo all lite up.

October Fun

October was full of exciting firsts for Chason.  We carved his first pumpkin for Halloween.  James & I hadn't carved a pumpkin in 20+ years.  Now they have patterns to draw on the pumpkin.  We've come a long way from triangles & semicircles. 

Papa Andy

Papa Andy stayed with us through the end of summer again this year.  He & Chason had fun going for long walks & making car shows.

Yard work at Granny Barb's

We did some yard work at Granny Barb's house this Fall.  Chason was a big help - showing his muscles.

Chason's First Real Moose Hunt

This was also the year Chason went on his first moose hunt.  Uncle Tuomo had a permit not far from town.  It was a 6-hour 4-wheeler ride & Chason didn't stop talking the whole time.

Alaska State Fair

Steve & Anner were celebrating their wedding anniversary.  We took them to the state fair.  Was nice for a few hours, then the crowd showed up - crazy, busy, & crowded!

Batman

Chason decided he wanted to be Batman this year for Halloween.  He got to try out his costume early.

Anchorage Downtown Market

We took Steves & Anner to the Downtown Market while they were here.  They got to see (& unfortunately hear) the Alaskan Elvis.

Cousin Steve & Anner

Daddy's cousin Steve & his wife Anner came up for a visit.  They got a free trip & decided to come see us in Alaska (favorite cousin - ha, ha).  Chason kept calling Steve - "Steves".  They were buddies.

"Home-Day"

Best thing about having Grandma & Grandpa here are the "Home-Days".  Chason gets so excited about staying home & getting to play with Grandma & Grandpa all day.
